About Us
Our mission at the International Biomedical Association of Education (IBAOE) is to bring together HTM professionals and subject matter experts from around the world to educate, train, exchange ideas, experience, and information related to medical devices, with the goal of enhancing safety and improving the quality of patient care.
Principles
Collaboration
We collaborate with the DNV and all willing Biomedical Associations on a national and international level to establish mutually agreeable standards for the right to repair with OEMs and ISOs. Our goal is to problem-solve on a national and international level, standardizing education and training for up-and-coming professionals and companies in the HTM industry.
Scholarships
Our goal is to provide scholarships to students who have the aptitude to do well in the industry but cannot afford to pay, with the aim of supporting the next generation of HTM professionals.
Uniting Biomedical
Associations
Our goal is to unite biomedical associations and keep them informed of changing technology and requirements to maintain that technology, with the aim of advancing the industry and ensuring best practices are shared across the field. We use the DNV to assist with establishing the standards.
Sharing Subject
Matter Expertise
Our goal is to seek out subject matter experts from across the industry to have them share their experiences with our members, providing valuable insights and helping to advance education in our industry.
Virtual Reality
Training
Our goal is to find sponsors to support IAMHTM in obtaining funding to create virtual reality training opportunities across the globe, providing valuable training experiences to members of our association on a global level.
Enhancing Learning
Experiences
Our goal is to identify ideas that will enhance the learning experience of all members attending our monthly meetings, with the goal of providing valuable educational opportunities to all members of our association.
Recruiting the Younger
Generation
Our goal is to identify ways of sharing our industry to help attract younger generations to join the HTM industry, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the field and the continued delivery of high-quality care to patients.
Sponsorship
We invite HTM corporations to help sponsor our association, enabling IAMHTM to reach out to more members globally, and to support us in obtaining and sharing new state of the art technology with the HTM industry.
